THE STORY

In life, there are places, memories, and moments in time that are preserved and engrained in your mind forever. Whether it is playing ball with your kids, walking on the beach with your dog or crossing the finish line, these are the types of moments that you want to remember for a lifetime.

Twenty years ago, my father would come home from work and change into his most comfortable clothes, his "naukabouts". Putting the workday behind him, he'd head out to the yard to play ball with my brothers & me. To him, those were some of life's best memories and they still are today.

Three decades later, those memories, and many more, still stand strong and hold true. With a bit of spin, a change in the phonetics and the switch from that old little league t-shirt to a branded apparel line, Naukabout was born.

The original Naukabout concept was formed on the basis of a clothing company, but the term "Naukabout" and the message behind it are rapidly becoming a mainstream topic in today's society. Quite simply, Naukabout moments are one's most memorable moments, places & life adventures.

Life is a series of minutes; while we don't always remember those minutes, we remember the moments. Today, more than ever, people seek balance between work and play and they value time outside of the office - they want to create & preserve Naukabout moments.

Not only does Naukabout celebrate moments in the making, but just as important is remembering those precious times & places that comprise our past. With lifestyles filled with outdoor adventures, the Naukabout founders are committed to preserving our past while creating a sustainable outdoor future. Naukabout's commitment to conservation and preservation also manifests itself in alliances with a number of environmental, charitable & social organizations. Naukabout is dedicated to preserving our past while creating our future.

When thinking of your places & moments, both past & present, our brand encourages people to stop and answer the questions:

"Where would you be if you could?"
"What would you be wearing?"
"Where do you Naukabout?"
