WHERE WE NAUKABOUT

Many years ago, the concept of Naukabout began as a phrase used to describe those moments, places & times where one is most content; that place you see when you close your eyes, put your feet up & take a deep breath. It was those times, situations & experiences that became the impetus for this company.

With a home-base presence in both Cape Cod, MA & Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, Naukabout was founded and created by two friends in two different parts of the country who believe it is important to take time to ask, answer and reflect on the question, "Where do we Naukabout?"

Brook Conley, managing partner

Whether out at Sandy Neck Beach (Cape Cod) with his family and friends, playing ice hockey or just at home relaxing with his kids, Brook's Naukabout moments are vast. Along with Russ, he has transformed the concept of "naukabout", which his father coined and introduced to him as a child, into an exciting business venture, dynamic company and important lifestyle message that resonates with all walks of life. Brook resides with his family in southern New England.

Russ Gentile, managing partner

Russ lives with his family in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, where you can most often find him coaching t-ball and soccer, hitting the links or riding the waves. These, along with fond memories of walking the docks in Nantucket and climbing the rocks in Maine, are his most treasured Naukabout moments. He realizes that each person's Naukabout moments are unique and help define who they are. He and Brook are hoping to help people identify, enjoy and preserve the places they most like to be.

Adam Conley, operations

Mornings on the Cape Cod beaches before any footprints have set in, a large coffee in hand and his black lab, Deschutes, by his side is Adam's favorite Naukabout moment. An outdoor enthusiast, avid participant in the triathlon scene and a passion for the environment, Adam's Naukabout moments & memories span from Cape Cod to Seattle. He brings e-commerce, business and sustainable technology experience to help bring together the nuts and bolts of Naukabout.

Jeff Conley, in-house design / events manager

With guitar in hand and surfboard on the roof racks, Jeff's eclectic personality leads him to many different Naukabout moments. At any given time, Jeff can be found strumming a guitar with his feet in the ocean and creative mind flowing. As lead singer/songwriter of Boston-based Tin Can Tele, past east coast manager of an international music festival and armed with an education in the arts from Hartwick College, Jeff leads Naukabout's in-house design & event planning.
